How Beneficial is a PPC Campaign for
your Online Business?

PPC (Pay per Click) is an online marketing strategy used to advertise websites online which costs the advertiser on a per click basis—the price is determined by the value of the keyword. When someone uses the search engines and visits a website by clicking on the advertisement, the advertiser is then charged the amount which they will pay to the search engine provider.

PPC campaigns were introduced in 2002. It is not a new idea in internet marketing technique, but it is one of the most effective methods to maximise exposure, increase return-on-investment and generate more visits to your website, thereby increasing your chances for sales.

PPC campaigns can be highly beneficial to online businesses to generate more visits to websites. You must target quality, effective and relevant keywords. You can set up budgeted campaigns—setting a daily/weekly etc budget, change your advertisements regularly and ‘test and measure’ what people are really looking for.

An effective and robust campaign can yield great profits in a very short time.

In general, PPC campaigns can be an easy way to generate traffic and responses. It is an effective way of marketing services and products utilising the right keywords and depending on the competitiveness of the keyword, can be inexpensive and cost-effective (a highly competed for keyword will not be cheap). An experienced SEO specialist can help you create an effective and well-managed PPC Campaign.

My Melbourne Gig!

Last September 2010, I attended a seminar in Melbourne about SEO techniques. It was a great opportunity for me to learn more about Search Engine Optimisation. Again, it was a great chance for me to meet lots of people, discuss, eat and share common thoughts.

The Use of Keyword Research for
Effective Online Marketing

Keyword research is the process of finding the most relevant keywords searched by people using search engines (ie: Google, Yahoo etc). It is an essential SEO aspect for your website since it determines how the search engines view your website and how people find you!

If your SEO specialist is unable to find and get the right keywords for your website, then making it to the first page in the search engine is not going to be possible.

Finding the right keywords where you have high levels of searches for your product and/or service, yet have minimal competition can be very time consuming. As the owner of your business, it is hard to think like your own customer and they way they will look for your product/service.

Keyword research is one of the most
Important things in SEO since targeting the wrong keywords may result in devastating effects to your online business. It is an ongoing process as peoples tastes and search habits constantly change.

You must change with them!

A real estate salesman and his boss

A real estate salesman had just closed his first deal, only to discover that the piece of land he had sold was completely under water.

“That customer's going to come back here pretty mad,” he said to his boss. “Should I give him his money back?”

“Money back?” roared the boss. “What kind of salesman are you? Get out there and sell him a houseboat.” :)) (nyahahah)
